Get All of Your Questions Answered

Siam Wheels allows everyone to enjoy hot rides at affordable prices.

At Siam Wheels we strive to convey a simple message of how hassle free riding the best bikes in Thailand really is. Below are some of our more common questions that we get from day to day.

See below for more details.

Siam Wheels Membership

  • Why should I join Siam Wheels?

Siam Wheels provides a way for our members to enjoy the thrill of driving top-quality, valuable and fun motorcycles without the hassles of ownership. By requiring only a simple monthly payment with no expensive up-front costs, we make it easy for you to ride some of the best motorcycles in the world. Membership means access to a garage that will shortly include the entire Harley-Davidson lineup as well as some of Japan’s top superbikes.

We are a member-driven organization passionately dedicated to giving our members the ultimate riding experience. We are always working to identify new ways to enhance our members’ experiences and improve our inventory of bikes. Siam Wheels members enjoy riding elite motorcycles for a cost far lower than the cost of rental or ownership.
  • Is this similar to a fractional-ownership club?

No. Although fractional ownership clubs and our club both allow members to use vehicles, they are not really similar. With a fractional ownership club, members are still owners and have all of the headaches (and hidden costs) of ownership, even if these risks are shared among the members. In our club, members do not own the motorcycles and do not assume any of the risks of depreciation or the costs of maintenance. Our members just enjoy riding the roads of Thailand.
  • I have never heard of a time-share for motorcycles. Has this concept been successful elsewhere?

This emerging concept has been successful in other markets around the world. The industry is in its infancy, although a sizable number of articles have been written about this unique niche. It's not unlike fractional ownership or time-sharing for boats and condos. However, Siam Wheels is the first company to bring this opportunity to motorcycle enthusiasts in Thailand. And while many clubs need members in order to purchase their fleet, Siam Wheels already has a growing fleet of motorcycles ready for you to ride immediately!
  • Your membership fees seem very attractive, and I like the idea of a monthly subscription instead of an annual lump sum. Is there a catch?

No, there's no catch! We do not need large initial member deposits to go out and buy vehicles. Many auto clubs ask for thousands of dollars up front for this purpose. We simply require a monthly subscription with a 12-month commitment. The payment is likely less than the payment would have been for one of our motorcycles. We have the vehicles in the garage ready for you to enjoy. In order to maintain the maximum member-to-bike ratio of 5:1, we will add bikes as needed to ensure that the vehicles remain easily available to members. This ratio is one of the lowest in the industry; some clubs have as many as 20 members per vehicle.
  • Do I need to own a Harley-Davidson or other motorcycle to join the club?

No, the club is designed for people who want to ride these motorcycles without the hassles and costs that go along with owning them. Depreciation for some of these vehicles may cost tens of thousands of baht per month, and maintenance costs also tend to be very high. Siam Wheels is an affordable alternative to owning. Many of our members, however, do already own a fun weekend motorcycle or two but love the flexibility and choices that Siam Wheels affords them. We have club events throughout the year, and we encourage members who own a special bike or car to bring it out for these occasions.
  • Can I share the membership with one of my friends?

No, at this time ridership is only for the member. We hope, however, that in the near future we can extend membership privileges to immediate family members.
  • Can my spouse ride a motorcycle under my membership?

Unfortunately at this time, it is not possible for spouses to have use of the motorcycles except under the corporate level of subscription. Under a corporate membership, the corporation is responsible for all users and furnishes blanket insurance coverage for their designated or authorized users, adding the club as an additional insured party.

Booking and Riding

  • How far in advance can I reserve a motorcycle?

This varies by tier, as shown in the table under Terms & Conditions. Our highest tiers have longer lead times for reserving a vehicle, which helps ensure that the bike the member wants will be available. But the lead time is quite long for all tiers.
  • Do you really own the motorcycles listed on your Web site?

Yes, we do. Because of the cost of owning a fleet of such vehicles, many other clubs borrow vehicles from other markets. This makes it difficult for them to guarantee reservations and almost impossible to control the quality of the vehicles.
  • What is the condition of your motorcycles?

All of our motorcycles have been hand-selected by our management. Siam Wheels proudly owns all the vehicles listed on our Web site, and we keep them in immaculate condition. We take pride in each motorcycle's mechanical and cosmetic condition. All of the photographs in our club brochures and on our Web site are of the actual vehicles available to our members. Some other clubs use stock photos, but, with us, what you see is what we have in the garage waiting for you to ride.
  • Can my spouse ride a motorcycle under my membership?

Unfortunately at this time, it is not possible for spouses to have use of the motorcycles except under the corporate level of subscription.
